Ya’ll act like the U.S. is the only country enforcing their immigration laws. I saw a bunch of people getting deported in Taiwan last break and I was there for maybe a week. I lived in Asia for a while and it’s shocking to see immigrants there legally or illegally. And even when they are there legally they get treated like shit by the citizens of that country. I don’t get why the U.S. is the only country that’s not allowed to enforce their laws.

Guys stop entertaining #1. You will never change their closed mind, and you will only get upset.

Well by breaking immigration law they are criminals and typically criminals are held in cells so that seems about right. They are shooting rubber bullets at protesters who keep trying to break into or stop their operations, not sure why that’s controversial. No idea about pepper spraying people but if some woman was protesting with a baby (why would you do that) and got sprayed well…🤷🏻‍♂️.

It should’ve been enforced for the last 15 years but it wasn’t. So now we’ve had to use drastic measures to enforce what wasn’t.

those dramatic measures weren’t ever necessary. ICE is extremely cruel and aggressive to not only hardworking mothers and fathers, but even to innocent children. let alone “their own people”. in no world should we ever treat human beings the way they do. the way ICE is being enforced right now will never be justified. most of these mexicans are the foundation of the country your ungratefully living in.

They are currently necessary, and are far less aggressive than most border enforcement agencies across the world. But once again, those mothers, fathers, and innocent children wouldn’t have to be deported with force if the hadn’t just been let in.

enlighten me on how their aggression is necessary? many people don’t even resist or fight the ICE agents yet they still harm them. they shoot rubber bullets at innocent DOCUMENTED citizens, pepper spray them including a BABY, and so much more. so tell me how all of that is necessary? keeping them in literal cages with no water and disgusting food is “necessary” to you? but they were because they like anyone else deserves the right to live a better life.

people like you are privileged and conceited thinking they’re entitled to everything. their lives mean nothing to you.

It didn’t attach to the string so I’m just going to keep this new one. I am privileged by being born into the greatest country to exist so far. I have nothing against their lives, I just want them to live where they belong or immigrate legally like many people I know have. I simply want our borders to be enforced. The only thing their influx does is weaken the standard of living for US citizens and keeps Americans from getting a living wage while padding the pockets of the rich.

Entitled are the people who come here illegally, thinking that the laws don’t apply to them. And are putting their families at risk after knowing what the consequences are. If I rob a store bc I’m poor and need to support my family and get caught, I’m not going to be mad and say it’s unfair if I get arrested. The reason why I robbed the store does not matter. I knew what the consequences would be if I got caught and it would be my own fault for taking that risk.

This is going to sound super boomer, but I’m not closed minded. Just not open minded so much that my brain falls out. Y’all are really so upset people who broke the law are getting consequences it’s really strange tbh.

You are right, you do sound like a boomer. You are ignoring so much, in your attempts to cling to a flimsy view of how this country works. But I stand by what I said: I’m not engaging anymore, have a good life

It’s not how this country works, it’s how every sovereign nation works. You have borders and designated citizens and you enforce the laws based upon that. You can throw a temper tantrum and refuse to engage all you like but ICE will continue doing their job because it’s what needs to happen at this point. The longer you ignore the sickness the worse the treatment.
