I think mission trips can be good or bad depending on the reason. Some people only do it for cloud or prestige or karma or whatever

Oh ya going to help people in need is really disgusting. Why would anyone do such a thing😒

because certain mission trips, like the Mormon ones, is literally just walking around and trying to convert people. If you’re talking about a service based trip, like helping to build a water pump in Africa, or teach at a local school, or build houses, sure that’s helpful.

Bc they’re more for the sake of colonizing and trying to convert people thrn actually helping

Colonizing and converting aren’t the same thing.

“helping in need” kinda loses its valor when there’s strings attached (Christianity). Like there’s no way those poor villagers don’t hear like 10 speeches about adopting Christ as their savior.

Hm. I like to help people to help people. I don’t help people to try and convert them to a religion.

So Christian’s don’t convert people, we plant seeds. It’s between God and the person whether or not that relationship grows. Christian’s on missions trips work for others and share the love of Christ through their labor.
