(Euphoria spoiler) Sam Levinson intentionally made the takeaway from Euphoria be “don’t do drugs! Rue got what she deserved” & stigmatizing Rue OD’ing as her fault but she was actually coerced & MURDERED via drugs… like Sam, the math ain’t mathing…😑

i mean tbh it was the most realistic ending in her situation like if we pretend season 3 never happened and we just picked up where the show left off, rue was still HIGHLY likely to OD. she was addicted to fentanyl, pain killers, and coke. i’m sorry, but her getting clean while dealing with all her mental health issues wasn’t very likely

Got bad vibes from that show from day one. Glad I never watched a single ep. Come to find out it was a just a massive victim-blaming, anti-drug PSA.

Highly likely to OD meanwhile the entirety of season 3 (until the end) they made her seem like she had ZERO substance abuse concerns or mental health issues, unlike seasons 1 and 2. It’s just nonstop “unlikely” situations for Rue that also contradict each other. Sam Levinson is a horrible writer

i mean yea the inconsistencies in this season compared to the last two seasons in writing is bc sam levinson ACTUALLY wrote this season. the last two seasons he stole from a female writer (i forgot her name unfortunately ugh). this whole season belongs in the dumb. the fact that rue doesnt show any signs of mental health struggles or substance abuse is unrealistic
