i posted smth similar in girl talk recently about how referring to women as “females” in a non-medical/forensic/etc. context was super icky to me and literally the first person to comment on it went on some huge rant about how i need to “stop getting offended over an everyday word and expecting people to change their vocabulary for me” and they swore at me a bunch lmao. they got downvoted so much their comments got deleted thankfully

That females thread that I mentioned here was mine lmao Someone quoted it agreeing and they flocked to her post too It’s so fucking stupid It doesn’t matter how you as a man feel about the word when we as women, the ones effected by it, feel otherwise Grow up and shut up cuz you need to start listening (Not you as in YOU, you as in generally speaking about the men)
