To be fair, it could also just be that we didn’t know everyone was this lonely because there was no way to ask a lot of people at once. I don’t think phones or the internet are the root of the problem. l think of them as a tool and it’s the way we use those tools that has led us to where we are now. I mean, we literally allow businesses to use psychology to take advantage of their customers unconscious minds just so they can make profit
