You don’t want a “mentally ill girl” you want the stereotypical obsessed girlfriend. You aren’t ready for the heartbreak and pain that comes with an actual mentally ill person

i love and support all mentally ill, neurodivergent, and disabled people, but going after them specifically seems very odd

I assume the heart break and pain comes from this type of person wanting obsession and dependence (gratification, validation) from a mentally ill person without being willing or able to give any support or commitment back.. being in a relationship with someone who wants to understand you is wonderful. Someone wanting to date you to keep you as a pet? Not so much

Correct, but the doom and gloom “my life will always be bad bc of my illness” is SUCH an unhealthy mindset. Life is harder, and there’s different struggles, yeah, but life won’t be miserable forever all the time. People gotta stop that or they will be miserable forever. If you’re always looking for the bad things it will be all you see

I can agree with that actually yeah. I think our points can cement each other. It's good for people to know their worth and what they can achieve
