i mean, it’s YOUR kid, do whatever YOU want. all i’m saying is, it’s not completely negative and some kids might appreciate it down the line. i’m just adding another perspective

I just don’t see how it’s any benefit to the baby, it hurts them and they don’t know what’s going on. I know they’re babies so they won’t remember that it hurt but still, just seems unnecessary

I guess that’s fair. But you could also argue babies heal better and they don’t mess with foreign objects cus they don’t even know it’s there so less risk of infection. And the kid could always take them out and just let them close up w no pain or effort on their part if they decide they don’t like it. Me personally, I never got my ears pierced and I’m pissed I wish my parents would’ve had it done. Never met anyone who was upset their parents did it, but I’ve met several people who wish they h
