Commenting “Jesus loves you” or Bible verses unsolicited under unrelated posts (ex: SNL clips) only makes you look like a holier than thou pretentious douchebag And this is coming from someone raised in church

Yes and no. Do I agree with u yes but think ab it it could lead even just one person like say they’re watching a snl skit they’re not a Christian and then they see John 3:16 someone just commented it and they decide to look it up and somewhere down the line they become a Christian. If there’s just one case like that I would say it’s worth it because although it does come across as annoying if it leads one person towards God’s grace then it’s worth it

I get how you see that, but it comes off as judging those who make or participate in the video’s content. That doesn’t drive anyone to explore Christianity. It’s better to have meaningful conversations in person with someone genuinely curious than to sound passive aggressive in a random comment section with no real interest of exploring religion at the moment.
