Parents shouldn’t feel privileged to people acting in certain ways in public because their kids are around. Yes it’s courtesy for me not to cuss in front of your kids but don’t complain about it to me if idc, take your kid out of situation instead tf

Alternative take: there are a few “bare minimum” behaviors like not cussing in frojt of children that everyone is responsible for as the price of living in civilized society

It’s not entitlement. It’s common respect and decency. I was always raised to not swear in public. It doesn’t matter if it’s in front of kids or not. Anyone would complain if someone was constantly swearing in public
