
You're right, I should probably define it more. It's not just their partners they'd lay their hands on, it could be their friends, family. If someone is willing to destroy $1000 worth of technology because of Overwatch, the people around them should be careful. And if you don't want to be part of this generalization, don't get violent over a loss.
I have NEVER thrown a controller or damaged any property as a result of a loss in a game and I’m a dark souls player. However, it’s ridiculous to compare the worth of a game to a human. You have a point but the expression of it sucks. Games and consoles are replaceable a billion times over but you can never replace a human. Also you SHOULD treat your devices and people differently
