I am agnostic but am open to believing. Something had to have kick started the universe right? Before there was anything? “Nothing” can’t create “something”. I think I believe in a higher power of sorts but idk about concepts like “God”, “Heaven or Hell”, stuff like that. I feel like our universe might just be some petri dish in some alien lab
I don’t think it was “intelligent and purposeful design by God” if that’s what you’re getting at. There’s no recorded history or even stories about giant pipets coming down from the sky to introduce new elements of nature like how we would when manipulating the elements in a petri dish. I think the universe was created with very basic parts like gases, matter, heat, etc and the rest naturally took shape through happenstance, evolution, etc over billions of years
anything is possible when you lie buddy. Agnosticism is the literal belief a higher power/god, it just does not describe to any particular organized faiths tenants for philosophical and moral guidance. However it is not atheism, which is the lack of religious beliefs entirely. Thanks for participating!
Huh? What the fuck are you on about? “Anything is possible when you lie buddy”, what an annoying, blatantly wrong asshole you are. Don’t tell other people what they believe is wrong or isn’t what they think it is. “Thanks for participating!” Try reading / listening to yourself annoying prick, holy fuck, unbearable
Your rage filled reaction is confirming that for me. If it isn’t the case then I really do apologize. But otherwise you are 110% posting misinformation and acting as if you are one thing while your belief system as you have seemingly admitted is in contradiction with the belief system you claim to subscribe to. Seems very trolllike does it not?
My rage filled reaction comes from reading the comments of someone who talks like a chronically online, religious obsessed / in your face know it all / Discord / Reddit user telling me what I believe isn’t what I think it is and trying to use my comment to make it seem like I believe in God. If you can’t see where you’re going wrong here or what’s annoying about how you talk to me, big problem.
To number 4, I was just thinking about where morality came from and where the earth and its processes of function came from in association with religious beliefs. I genuinely made this post as a way to be surprised at how people can believe in no god and have no faith. Which made me think it takes faith to believe in no god and have no faith. Essentially, overthinking enough and you’ll get it I think.
