Has that stopped people? Have people just. Stopped being horny since abstinence-only sex education was implemented? Or did teen pregnancies actually increase because teens weren’t getting comprehensive sex education?

What you said is literally the fundamental lesson of abstinence-only sex education, that the way to not get pregnant (or get STIs but that’s aside from the point) is to just not have sex. Which sure, is technically correct, but it does nothing. People are still horny. Adding shame into the mix for not doing the obvious thing doesn’t change that, it just makes things more confusing and complicated
