I guess it's not that hot of a take because yeah I think most do. But I have been seeing a lot of people say that you shouldn't vote for a lousy democrat because voting for anyone that supports genocide and capitalism is wrong or whatever, and I honestly think that's a pretty selfish and privileged perspective being disguised as a morally superior one

Well no I'm not. Some of them may be saying the same thing but I've seen it a lot more from people who identify as leftists lately. A huge part of it is that they're further left than the democrats.
