I’m sorry you feel this way and I’m sorry you feel hate for a group of people who are supposed to be unconditionally loving. I understand why people view Christianity this way because of the way some followers of Christ behave and treat others. But I hope one day you are able to meet someone who serves as an example of what it means to be a truly loving and selfless Christian 🙂
“Worship me and follow my impossible, contradictory rules that you get to pick and choose and still can’t be consistent with, or suffer for all eternity.” It’s all-knowing, but still has to test faith… all-loving, happy to let you suffer infinitely for a finite “crime”… it’s just bullshit.
It’s just simply pray and wait for results. The Bible in itself is just well, a set of guidelines. Beyond it is infinite; there’s a much bigger force beyond what you comprehend. There’s a saying “energies and energy systems that maybe beneficial and constructive to you and the understanding of those whose wisdom, development and experience is equal than greater than your own. When you pray you invoke a much bigger yet beneficial system that maybe constructive to you.
Have you ever actually looked into any of this and truly considered religion. If not maybe you should. It sounds like to me you have this preconceived notion and won’t even give it a fair shot. And you really think Christian’s and religion are the reason there is hate in world? Don’t be ridiculous.
I have actually considered faith. I went to church until my freshman year of high school and I found that I don’t believe. I have given it a fair shot and what I’ve seen is hatred and resentment towards those of different skin color, other religion, and sexuality. I don’t believe Christian’s and religion are the sole reason why there’s hate in the world, but they sure do contribute to it.
