I hate Christianity and it’s a faulty religion.

I’m not saying you’re right and wrong, I’m saying there’s a greater understanding that can be beneficial. Yes I agree the people behind the religion maybe limited in their understanding, however your greatest super power lies in praying.

I’m sorry you feel this way and I’m sorry you feel hate for a group of people who are supposed to be unconditionally loving. I understand why people view Christianity this way because of the way some followers of Christ behave and treat others. But I hope one day you are able to meet someone who serves as an example of what it means to be a truly loving and selfless Christian 🙂

You’re right, the god of the bible isn’t just faulty… it’s also portrayed as abusive, psychotic, a liar, and entirely too temperamental to warrant any form of worship.

I do, and they outgrew fairytales.

Exactly, like. How’s a being going to ‘love everyone’ and yet send them to eternal torture if they don’t do so much as worship him. That makes no sense and sounds more like a dictator than a god.

Call that offensive, but I’ve seen Christians be antisemitic, racist, form terrorist groups (like the KKK), rape and murder women and children, make literal CULTS, spread hatred and so much more.

“Worship me and follow my impossible, contradictory rules that you get to pick and choose and still can’t be consistent with, or suffer for all eternity.” It’s all-knowing, but still has to test faith… all-loving, happy to let you suffer infinitely for a finite “crime”… it’s just bullshit.

45,000+ different sects, all hate each other and think they have the only “truth”…. Guess that just shows how “perfect” the “word of god” is. 🤣

It’s just simply pray and wait for results. The Bible in itself is just well, a set of guidelines. Beyond it is infinite; there’s a much bigger force beyond what you comprehend. There’s a saying “energies and energy systems that maybe beneficial and constructive to you and the understanding of those whose wisdom, development and experience is equal than greater than your own. When you pray you invoke a much bigger yet beneficial system that maybe constructive to you.

I disagree. When tackling questions like where did humanity come from you have to have faith. Additionally, the scientific method time and time again shows that the bible is correct. And that a lot easier for me than the big bang theory which I haven’t found evidence to back up

Everything when you start to ask deep questions like how did the earth get here ultimately is a belief. Evolution and the big bang are both beliefs

Of course- everyone in their infinite wisdom has their own opinion of who, what, where or why things happen.

No, you don’t need faith. We have evidence, something those fairytales do not.

I mean what do you want proven? There was a history document of a skeptic who was trying to disprove the plagues that I thought was very interesting. there’s no earthly way I could prove everything at once neither of us have the time for that

But Christian’s allow a few bad apples spoil the bunch. Why do you think Racism still exists? Sexism? Antisemitism? It’s all based on stereotypes because of a ‘few bad apples’. So your point makes no sense.

I have actually considered faith. I went to church until my freshman year of high school and I found that I don’t believe. I have given it a fair shot and what I’ve seen is hatred and resentment towards those of different skin color, other religion, and sexuality. I don’t believe Christian’s and religion are the sole reason why there’s hate in the world, but they sure do contribute to it.
