isnt the whole idea of the talking stage that you aren't exclusive yet? sorry but like you can't expect loyalty when you arent actually in a relationship, you need to communicate that if that's what you're looking for. and at that point it's not really the talking stage anymore cuz you defined the relationship

Only if that’s the terms you both set, if not they don’t owe you shit

i think if you’re actively talking to someone you shouldn’t start talking to other people- if you’re serious about the person you’re talking to

What’s super crazy is. I only talk to one person at a time. And I communicate that to people. And they agree. But later go back like “we aren’t in a relationship so we shouldn’t be exclusive” 💀 you wanted a relationship with me. What changed buddy

The whole point of a talking stage is to build a relationship…. If I can’t trust you while we’re talking, how can I trust you in a relationship? In my opinion, if I’m talking to somebody, we’re building a relationship.

The talking stage is to build a bond with that person not fuck around with him her him her and all the other people in the world

so tell them that? my point is that isn't what talking stage means for a lot of people & you can't expect others to know that's what you mean by it unless you communicate that. someone might be trustworthy in a relationship but if they don't think you're in a relationship you can't assume they'll be loyal.

Ummm you should already know that? Why would I talk to someone just for it to go nowhere, that’s a waste of both of our time, I shouldn’t have to hold your hand and tell you” we’re talking to build a relationship” that’s literally the whole point of the talking stage

exclusivity is not an automatic expectation in the talking stage. you should communicate that exclusivity is a priority for you. since you're building relationship you should be prioritizing communication imo

I’m someone that has deep attachments to people (demiromantic/demisexual). If we’re building something serious over months and months, and then you bail because you’re chasing hypothetical better options, that’s painful and feels like my investment in the relationship wasn’t valued. Like bruh lmao
