there’s no such thing as “fully developed” but i kinda agree kids are probably a 21+ thing. marriage depends on the couple, most shouldn’t but people make terrible decisions at any age. imo young adults shouldn’t view themselves as children it’s unhealthy to not take responsibility

Personally I take it further and think people should wait til they’re near 30 or older. Idk why people want to rush so quickly to start families when they’ve barely even experienced adult life yet. Don’t get me wrong, if you’re a legal adult, you can make the decision you want. I’m just grateful I grew up with mature parents and not ones who were fresh out of hs or college.

But yes, terrible marriage decisions can be made at any age and not everyone can be a good parent regardless of age
