also like don’t be stingy with it. put enough on him so your hand can move up and down with no friction then put some right at your entrance and rub it around. don’t be afraid to re apply either. if it starts to feel uncomfortable add more. my partners larger and sometimes i have to have him fully insert once then remove and re apply before we can start

and i prefer silicone over water-based because it’s slicker and lasts longer. i feel like once i start i have to reapply silicone like once max but i have to apply water-based constantly. you WILL have to shower afterwards and soap down like a couple times but SO worth it in my experience
