asymptomatic transmission is possible. i contracted genital hsv1 from my gf who did NOT have a cold sore at the time. a lot of ppl have it and don’t know. but if he knew he definitely should have disclosed it and it’s really fucked up if he didn’t. it definitely does suck and it’s an adjustment, but life does go on and it will be okay. you’re not alone and this is manageable. I also know the first outbreak is the worst so hang in there 🫶🏽

My outbreak actually hasn’t been too bad. There is some nerve pain and the ulcers hurt pretty bad but other than that it’s been pretty mild. I just pray that I can still find a boyfriend, i’m only 19 and I go to an SEC school so it’s been kinda hard.

i’m glad to hear your outbreak isn’t as bad my first one damn near took me off this earth! I’m not gonna lie and say it’s gon be easy, people generally do not understand hsv and so they’re quick to judge but that does NOT mean you will not find a boyfriend. You will still find a mans who loves you. Majority of people live with hsv and still find love.
