It hadn't been recommended yet for a lot of guys our age when they were kids because HPV-caused cancers don't affect men as much as women. Personally, even though I was a girl and it was recommended, my mom didn't want me getting it as a kid because of something she read online so I only finished my vaccine course at 19. Some guys don't even know this vaccine exists

There’s usually some way to track it but it differs from state to state and person to person. I would call your doctor’s office and explain the situation. They can look through your files and see if they have the relevant records, and if not, they’ll probably be able to tell you how you can find them. But before you do that I would ask your mom or whatever caregiver was responsible for your medical care

some or most states have statewide vaccine record databases that any healthcare professional can access. like in Georgia there’s GRITS which is their statewide database. so def call your doc and ask

Wait a minute my mom also didn’t want me to get this vaccine because of something she read online and now I’ll be finishing my vaccine course shortly after my 20th birthday 😭 are we lowk the same person
