Vers was primarily an mlm thing (and wlw with strapons) until social media started mistaking the word for switch which made a lot of people think they were interchangeable. Most gays men are classified as vers bottoms or vers tops meaning they do both but prefer one, and a lot of other people that explore kink might be a switch with dom leaning for example
