Yes, she lied about it just so she could have sex with me. I think she’s already in jail for other things though

In some places it may not be, from the reasoning that criminalizing this will make it less likely for perpetrators to fess up and give the victims the knowledge they need to get care. It’s kind of a shitty conundrum

Sadly not, I live in California and it’s only if it’s unprotected sex and only if your intention is to infect the other person.

That said even if it’s not illegal you’re still liable and I would grant someone a bunch in damages(if the STI was permanent).
