Someone in my frat just tested positive for an STD. None of us can say anything because we’d get disciplined and it would make the whole frat look bad. So everyone’s just been avoiding the girls he’s hooked up with in the past 3 weeks

Go talk to them. Women generally experience more severe long term effects from STDs, and it can lead to infertility and cancers. Look up PID.

I dm’d OP and it turns out we go to the same school. But yeah the guy is popular and it was a whole thing on campus. So a lot of people already found out. Apparently he stopped having sex after finding out and is getting treatment. His frat just wants to keep things DL because they already have a bad rep on campus plus all the talk about frats in the news

Also leads to a higher risk of ectopic pregnancies. Which can be life threatening on their own, but esp if ur in a red state and there’s some weird abortion laws/red tape that can delay abortions.

They’re still putting these women at risk by not telling them that they need to also go get treatment and get tested
