Your response: text him, “Please don’t say you’ll call back when you won’t. I don’t like to be kept waiting”. Sets a boundary which tells him you deserve respect and makes him less inclined to treat you like that in the future. (Being overly tolerant will not make him like you more, just disrespect you)
