ICE as a whole isn’t doing a bad job. Just like the regular police force there might be some parts of it that have a bad apple a two but as a whole, the country is safer and jobs are opening up. Immigraants were detained whether they were getting a process or not, they entered illegally which is grounds to kick them out. Now whether they get to keep going through that process is not up to them. But in any case they shouldn’t have came illegally in the first place.

Correct. Seeking asylum is not illegal. U can look all u want but in today’s age there is a LEGAL process you have to go through to enter the country and become a citizen. Just because yall did it back then doesn’t mean you do it now. And my ancestors weren’t pilgrims. I’m not white. My ancestors didn’t immigrate into this country. They were forcible taken from their homes and under the U.S law were allowed to be slaves.

Just bc a persons ancestors weren’t a part of a Native American tribe doesn’t mean they have any less say in the country they were BORN IN. U nor you can control your ancestors actions. So stop trying to put their shortcomings on the new generations. Bottom line is if you’re born here you are a citizen. If not then you’re illegal while in the states. Simple.

Secondly, saying that Jim Crow laws are even related to the ways that ice is handling immigrants is absurd. You can’t correlate the two, because the purpose and function are completely different. Jim Crow laws were specifically to segregate, make it harder to vote, and make people uneducated. Solely based on skin color. Ice is rounding up criminals and other illegal immigrants

If you supported the constitution you’d uphold its values in not wanting people who are illegally in the country here. And if you supported the people in the country you’d understand that many illegal immigrants deal drugs, commit crimes including murder, and cause a lot of damage to the actual citizens of this country.
