Why is it that I start eating more carbs and I lose a little bit of weight? I’m 145lb 5’6 and always prioritized protein over carbs but then realized my mistake but now I’m losing weight?

idk if this is the same, but that happened when i was in ed recovery and my doctors said it was because it effects your metabolism

Assuming you are free of any health issues, what generally is most important when it comes to weight gain or loss is your net caloric intake at the end of the day. You may be eating more carbs but your total caloric intake may be below your body’s needs.
