I have been on a weight loss journey since February and I have been consistently losing weight(from 208 down to 178). But I have hit a plateau recently. I haven’t been able to dip below this in around a month and I am getting frustrated. Is this normal?

Yes! Are you on a cut? And if so, how long have you been on the cut for?

Either lower your calories or increase your daily step count.

Bc if you're in a cut for too long, your metabolism slows down to compensate. So you either plateau or start gaining. You need to up your caloric intake and jump-start your metabolism! If you up it, you'll lose weight again (initially), then plateau again. That's when you're gonna cut again if you still wanna lose weight.

I’ve been on a cut since January. So if I up my calorie intake how does that not make me gain weight again?

Yeah the metabolism thing is a myth that's pretty pervasive for some reason. You lost weight and you're probably more sluggish now because of your lower energy so you expend less calories than when you started. Lower your calories or do a little more exercise and you'll be fine
