If you are debating buying a compression shirt but aren’t sure if it’s gonna look good. It’s essentially just a second skin, I personally think a good rule is if you have visible abs you can pull of a compression shirt pretty safely.

There are fitted shirts that look good on people that are big but maybe not at lower bf percentages. They are tight around the chest and shoulders but lose around the stomach

So your gut isn’t noticeable. In a compression shirt it’s gonna be like a second skin and not be flattering if you have belly fat. Muscle fit shirts aren’t gonna suction to your tummy like that but still make you look good by framing your chest, shoulders, and arms. I wear compression shirts and honestly muscle fit too when I’m not the gym bc sometimes compressions get uncomfortable after awhile since they are so tight
