I struggle a lot eating more during the day time because I tend to eat a majority of my food around dinner / nighttime, so I’m always afraid of overdoing it. I’m in an unhealthy underweight zone for my body though and I lift 60 min/ day 6x a week

I feel that but it’s a process dude that’s kinda the point. It’s a lifestyle change and if u don’t do the diet right ur just gonna end up losing lifting progress and going in circles

I have the same problem because of medications suppressing my appetite. My best advice is drinking more calories during the day because eating a large dinner or too many snacks close to bedtime can disrupt sleep!

I also currently track everything and hit 100+ grams of protein every day

Yeah dieting is rlly tough I’ve been doing 200g daily for a couple weeks now but it’s becoming very difficult. Sounds like u need more calories or else ur just gonna start losing muscle

Idk ur body type but if u think ur operating in an unhealthy zone then the lifting isn’t gonna help anything. Use google and do some math to figure out what minimum amount of calories you need daily to stay in a healthy/building muscle zone. Definitely keep protein high but yes u also need carbs and fat to function properly

I love sourdough bread with peanut butter before bed. It aides sleep, easily digestible, and quick calories!

I wanted to use lifting as a way to build muscle mass instead of straight body fat, that’s why I keep training and focusing on protein. I know my maintenance and bmr stats already, and I’ve been tracking, but it’s lowkey exhausting and repetitive

Ooh I'll have to try this. Although late night carbs usually make me feel more hungry when I wake up...
