Look into a basic “push pull split” and start VERY light. Like super low weight, maybe 10-20 reps just to get your body used to the motions. Don’t go heavy during the first week or two otherwise you will be extremely sore and/or injure yourself. Trust me on this. Also watch videos on how to do the workouts with proper form. Seriously, even as a relatively advanced lifter I regularly watch videos to keep my form in check. It’s very easy to injure yourself without proper form.
Some YouTube channels I’d recommend are Jeff Nippard for general exercise/weightlifting knowledge, and Scott Herman Fitness for some straight to the point form videos and tips. There’s a bunch of other great channels out there but these are some of my favorites. Will Tennyson is also a great channel for general fitness stuff.
