
Used to be a personal trainer, I’m not sure why this works, the science of it, I just know it works better for girls putting on muscle: If your protein is more like your ancestors ate, it tends to work better. Knew a German personal trainer, she was having trouble putting on muscle eating a bunch of fish. I asked her how much fish Germans ate in the region she hailed from… Not much. Switched to beef, gained the muscle she was seeking.
