Dumb question but if Im strictly eating less calories than I burn in a day, does it matter what kinds of foods I’m eating..?

I saw a thing that said calorie count changes weight, macros changes physique, micronutrients changes health. So if you're eating less you'll lose weight but if you have low protein it's losing muscle

Yes&No. You’ll lose weight regardless, but weight isn’t the only thing

You will loose “weight” but a balanced macro intake helps your body use body fat to make up that deficit. You can be in a deficit by only eating ice cream and candy but you will probably loose muscle and other tissues that contain the compounds your body requires to live and regenerate other cells.
