Are body weight workouts at home enough for me to get lean and tone? The gym is scary, I have no idea what I’m doing, and my only friend is ChatGPT and he can’t tell me if I am doing it right…

They can be, I’ve just found it hard to stay consistent with at home workouts. Do some calisthenics stuff too that will help

Definitely takes more willpower to do it at home but your body doesn’t know if you’re at the gym or at home simply how it’s being stressed

You lose fat when you eat less calories than you burn. Doing more exercise can burn some calories, but signals your body to eat more. If you're not limiting your calorie intake, it is unlikely you'll get leaner

yes for sure calorie intake 1 and hella reps! on ur downtime when u have the energy knock out 100 sit ups or pushups or wtv and ease your way into that gym routine. we all gotta start somewhere and the gym can for sure be scary to beginners but i promise it’s a welcoming place

Yeah they can but utilizing weights can help majorly. Pilates style workouts help too. The gym used to be scary for me as well but honestly everyone is focused on themselves and what rep/set they’re on. Everyone has their own path but it doesn’t hurt to get out of your comfort zone!! Truly at a gym you have more access to all kinds of machines and equipment!

Well, you’re already screwing yourself over by saying that the gym is too scary. I’ve never met anyone who’s lean and tone that has said that the gym is scary. Everyone has started in the gym, and either bought their own equipment or stayed in the gym. You won’t be successful with your goals if you’re not willing to out of your comfort zone

This is coming from someone who thought the gym was a scary place too…but I still went. After becoming semi consistent, I realized that everyone is focused in their own world, doing what they can do to make themselves better as people. A lot of people can look mean and scary, but they’re actually nice people who have spotted me and given me multiple tips on my form
