I went to the gym for the first time yesterday in YEARS.. and holy f my legs are so sore… I fall down when I try to sit - pls help What other tips are there besides just stretching and moving your muscles to get under sore

Eat or drink lots of protein. It helps with lactic acid build up

1. do the same routine but lighter. this improves blood flow which helps 2. eat. you should have plenty of protein and carbs. 3. sleep lots and regularly DOMS will stop being so bad in a couple weeks once your body is used to working out

I know it hurts but walk! Also lots of water and protein. And most importantly sleep
