i’m gonna get hate for this but i’ve been lifting for about 2 years now and i’ve done a couple cuts but i have PCOS which means im insulin resistant so the only way ive been able to actually cut is by eating in a HUGE deficit which leaves me so exhausted

also cuts >500 usually blunt hypertrophy and can often lead to muscle atrophy even with resistance training.

It'll certainly make being in a calorie deficit easier

If the heavy calorie deficit is low enough to make you tired, you're not loosing fat, you're digesting your body's muscle so that's not gonna help. Insulin sensitivity just means you're more sensitive to carbs. Could always try a normal deficit with the high protein but lower than normal carb. Similar to a diabetic diet

glps are a good solution for this!! if your doctor supports your decision, go for it. also see if there’s other medications they recommend. have you seen that pcos has been renamed pMos? polyendocrine METABOLIC ovarian syndrome. you have a condition that affects your metabolism. the cards are stacked against you. don’t feel bad for finding something that helps.

Reta would probably be really good for u since it increases insulin sensitivity. U can also try otc methods like berberine which can increase ur insulin sensitivity a decent bit
