Can I just vent for a sec, y’all? My friends are all convinced that these “high protein foods” like pop tarts and granola bars are the best things ever. No. No! It’s garbage. 6g of protein for 200 calories is not good. Am I crazy? Am I being too mean?
They say good protein source is if you can multiply the protein count by 10 and it's lower than the calorie count. That's why lean steak like top sirloin is barely a good one and peanut butter is not

My philosophy is if you like them and were going to have a pop tart anyway, then go ahead and eat the protein one. But don’t eat a protein pop tart and pretend like it’s making good progress towards your macro count when it’s not

The macros are ass and it’s all just marketing. I always call my friends out on “protein foods” that have horrible macros
