** and yes i am actually eating at 1200 now im not perfect but it’s certainly not going over enough to put me back at maintenance. should i lower my calories more?

1200 is already insanely low. The solution is honestly to just burn more calories. Do more cardio. Try different cardio aswell. When my buddy was losing weight what he did was a small cardio set at the end of every lifting day and then an extra hard cardio day (5+ miles) on his actual cardio day

How much do u weigh cause lowkey u might def not be overweight or not need to lose weight. If u need 1200 to lose weight chill and don’t let the body dysmorphia win

I think that the best thing you can do from here is bulk and increase your calories gradually. I know it sounds backwards but after so long of eating extremely low calorie, your metabolism will adapt and eventually maintenance becomes super low. Bulking will increase your metabolism and give you calories to lower. For example, this past bulk I got up to 3300 calories daily and I’ve been cutting successfully at 2400 and lost 15 pounds in 2 months on that.

You won’t gain a lot of fat doing this. You’ll gain muscle that will increase your metabolism overtime. Right now, your metabolism is so low you’ve got no run way to lose more weight. So maybe you put some weight back on sure, but when you go back into a cut you’ll be able to cut on a much highier calorie amount.
