Is it normal to skip a workout on a day? Like I’d get through my back and chest day and it’s over an hour at the gym, and I just go home instead of doing traps or incline bench. That normal?

Skipping something you have planned isn’t necessarily the greatest idea. I don’t know your full split and plan, but you could be targeting those muscles with other exercises and still see benefits. If you’re worried about how long you’re at the gym for you should analyze how many exercises/sets you’re doing and how much rest you’re taking. You can probably save time somewhere and see the same results
