Is it a real calorie deficit or are you just assuming it’s a deficit? Once you start dieting your body goes into low power mode

Did you find your deficit by actually measuring weight loss against calories or did you use some abstract number you found on the internet?

Umm I just looked up my tdee and based my maintenance off that and did like 500 cal deficit

I thought 500 was the amount u should be in a deficit or else it will mess with ur metabolism - also idk what else to do for workouts I workout everyday + 10000 steps

Well I’m eating ~1600 calories per day cuz my maintenance is ~ 2,200. I do incline walking, weightlifting and Pilates
