fall in love with the process and the progress, the actual exercises don’t matter as much as showing up does, so find workouts you enjoy doing and have multiple playlists so you don’t get bored; also just remember why you started

When I first started I told three of my friends (two of whom are bodybuilders) to hold me accountable. I would send them updates and proof that I was at the gym every day

You don’t overcomplicate things and just do it. Simple as that. Shift your mindset to seek the path of most resistance. It’ll be uncomfortable at first but your brain is a muscle that can be trained like anything else.

Don’t be too hard on yourself, give yourself a realistic framework to limit yourself to that you’ll know you can stick to and relatively enjoy. Treat yourself every so often, and realize that one day of overeating will not affect your weight.

I see what you’re saying, but people can’t force change all at once though, even if they “want it bad enough” it is unsustainable long term if there isn’t a short term incentive like small cheat meals attached to that goal
