can’t trust what i see cus body dysmorphia. can’t trust the scale cus muscle gain and fat loss contradict each other. idk how to tell if im doing good or bad bruh

That’s why I like prioritizing strength. You can always see numbers go up despite everything else staying the same and know you’re doing good

I agree with #1 and light blue. It really just depends on what you’re working towards. I train for the aesthetic more so but tracking my work outs and watching myself progress feels amazing especially if I’m like “damn that felt like shit” then realizing I did like 2 more reps then my last time. The picture thing also works fantastic it helps you capture progress especially since you see yourself everyday sometimes it’s hard to see change until you look back through pictures

yea i should probably do this. i feel like my perception of myself is constantly changing, so if i do the photo thing it won’t necessarily depend on how im feeling that exact moment and can look back later in a better headspace. thank you!!

yea i try to but i lift partly for aesthetics and i could theoretically be getting stronger but not looking my best in my eyes
