i want my abs to be more visible. how do i know if it’s fat or just organs cuz i’m a girl?

Don’t be afraid to gain weight and eat a lot. I’m a guy and I’m sure ppl can give more detail but this is probably the golden rule for women trying to gain muscle mass

Women naturally have more body fat than men so it’s harder to have visible abs. Also your uterus naturally pokes out a little but getting abs is still possible

Organs can push your belly out but your abs will still be visible. If you can’t see them then it’s fat.

1. you need to build abs. use exercises you can add weight to and go to failure. i recommend cable crunches. isolations like planks aren't good for hypertrophy. 2. you need to be at a low-ish body fat percentage. you can calculate this yourself, or guess visually. if you're overweight you'll need to cut down. keep in mind a lot of advice that's "just diet" is for men. as a woman you likely do not have enough ab muscle to show even if you diet, so prioritize building muscle for several months

i’m not sure the right balance between eating a lot to gain muscle mass but also wanting to lose fat, especially around my stomach
