3 years into lifting and I’m still not gaining muscle or any meaningful strength, I think it might be time to turn to the dark arts

3 years? You are probably not training intense enough or aren’t eating properly

I don’t know your height and weight but eat enough protein ima say 200g and the rest with carbs and fats try your best to cut crap from your diet if you can’t hit your protein and progressive overload track your workouts meticulously

don’t make any commitments to any kinds of substances. i did 4 years of cross country and track and when i stopped running daily, started lifting, and eating more i went from 6’0 155 to 185 in 7 months and then was able to cut afterward. you are capable of putting on mass too (barring any medical conditions).

I played tennis for 8 years, it’s not exactly the same but I put on 65 pounds after I quit and started resistance training hard and eating like there was no tomorrow. Just got to want it. I was tired of being small

Eat more, train heavy and intense. You don’t need an insane amount of volume to grow if you go hard enough
