hey yall i’ve been working out for a year but im barely getting into the whole pre workout/protein powder zone and wanted to ask what’s the best brand to buy?

pre is kinda up to you. some aren’t fans of ingesting that much caffeine. protein makes sense if you’re struggling to meet macros but some people reach that no problem

i use bucked up pre workout, and gold standard protein ( costco sells a huge bag )

For protein, Nutribullet or gold standard are the way to go. Sold in massive bags, whey protein, and cheap per serving (I know the price tag looks high but it’ll last you a long time). Plus they mix well and don’t make you choke

I took Bucked Up Woke AF for my first time and I loved it. I have upgraded to the Motherbucker version a couple months later and I’ve been hitting PRs with it

honestly don’t even bother with preworkout. just have a good clean meal 3-4 hours before, ideally packed with complex carbs and protein, and some fast digesting carbs about 30min-1hr before and you’ll be set. bananas and rice cakes are my favorite pre-workout snacks. you’ll need the calories anyways.
