How do you guys stay consistent? I went back up to 225 and trying to get to my prime of 180. I go to the gym then get busy with school and can’t go then I lose motivation. I’m tired of eating junk but not many cheap options. Constant cycle. Idk what to do

I have an Apple Watch, and I keep an excel sheet to calculate my net calories. I weigh most of my food to get accurate on how much I’m actually eating. I also have a widget of the app “strong” which shows me in a graph how many times I’ve worked out each week over 4 weeks.

Also get a Sam’s Club/costco membership. At Sam’s club they have 93% lean beef at around 5-6 dollars per pound, depends on your area. Get a food scale if you don’t already have one. Get a spray oil for when you’re pan cooking stuff to reduce how much oil you’re using. I make a pan fried vegetable medley most mornings, with eggs and ham steak. Vegetables are cheap and can be cooked to be flavorful.

I often get that feeling of “oh well, today is different. I can eat a little extra junk food/skip the gym/etc whatever excuse. But the data I’ve collected doesn’t support that mindset. It shows how many calories I’m over or under. The graph shows how many exceptions I’ve made, or how many times I go to the gym. If you think like me, this may help.
