GLP-1s are a bandaid. It takes healthy eating habits and consistency in the gym to lose fat long-term.

Just start it. Best decision I’ve made - makes you realize there’s much more to life

You need to just do it. The side effects from the medication are more tolerable than trying to white knuckle your way through weight loss. I lost like 35 pounds on Ozempic. In my mind its 100% worth it

Not true they’re actually a very potent medication when it comes to weight loss. Some people work their ass off in the gym and don’t lose any weight

Yes they work, but once you stop taking it studies show people revert to their old habits and gain back the weight they lost.

Probably because they aren’t tracking macros or lack consistency/patience

There’s ways to lose weight without having to give up the foods you love, the deciding factor is the individual’s willpower to know when to put down the fork.

GLP medications help you to do exactly that, which is what is so great about them. They enable you to stop eating when you shouldn’t eat anymore while still experiencing the joie de vivre from what you like to eat. This is why I chose to take Ozempic, and I hope to start using Tirzepatide after returning to the US.

Why spend the extra money if you can achieve similar results with just more patience

My insurance covers the medication, so there’s no incentive for me not to use it. I think I have been losing weight at the same pace I would be if I were to do it the traditional way. About ~1 pound per week. Maybe a little less.

Well I can understand where you’re coming from then.
