I think that most people don’t realize how much genetics play into this for women. The vast majority, even when lean are going to have a hard time achieving the second build, even when trying to grow them through hypertrophy training

Don’t worry, you won’t just accidentally get the second stomach. The only difference between these two stomachs is the top girl has more body fat, and the bottom girl has less body fat and more muscle. You can get the top stomach by just eating less and moving more.

I think getting the first one comes long before achieving the second, but I don’t have a ton of experience

Grow your ass and your upper body and make sure you mix in some core and good eating. Sleep well too. It’ll make that waist snatched and like you want

You just don’t get super lean. Cut until you get top pic and stop before bottom pic.

Thank u to everyone who responded! For more context, I’m taking the cut more seriously and I wasn’t sure if I should just implement more cardio or if ab exercises where necessary too. I know I won’t just get to the last pic but I want to make sure that when I do workout it’s to achieve the top instead or the bottom. I don’t do much weighted abs but not sure how necessary it is for the top figure bc I do genetically have a smaller waist and I won’t want to “be boxier” even tho Ik that takes time
