Gym noob, how do you guys manage to go all the way down on squats :0, I can only do that when I slightly elevate the back of my foot

Either by widening stance or by elevating the back of the foot like you said. Some people's hips are built in such a way that they can't squat deep without doing one or the other

you can get foot elevation stuff on amazon of put a plate down and use ur heals on there

Depends on how flexible your Achilles is. I couldn’t do it until I started ballet. Totally fine to shift to just the ball of your foot when you need to :)
