Depends: if he's serious gym goer then you can do serious brands like gym shark. If he's a "clothes are clothes" kind of guy probably doesn't matter

He’s been lifting for 2 years and over the last year has gotten more serious about it he doesn’t own any gym specific clothes because he doesn’t like to buy himself anything
