Anyone know what routine would work for me the best? I’m 6ft, 290lbs Trynna get down to 205 I used to play football so I’m definitely chubbier but there’s still muscle underneath I have my diet down at ~2600 calories and ~190 grams of protein

I would definitely try a recomp. You can definitely build solid muscle while in a sizable deficit. 2600 is a good start to lose about 2 pounds per week. I would resistance train at least 4 days a week to build muscle too. The more muscle you build the easier it’s going to be for you to lose weight. Just make sure you lower calories as you lose weight to keep up with your lower metabolism
