that is the downside of the cut, not being able to lift what you used to 🤷‍♀️

You should be able to maintain lifts even while on a cut. If you cannot, it could be because of the amount of carbs you’re consuming prior to lifting, amount of sleep you’re getting, recovery/fatigue, or if the deficit you’re in is sustainable. The aim of a cut is to maintain the muscle you have while reducing body fat.
